YEAR-ROUND AND WINTER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES!

Program Associates (Seasonal Naturalist and Day Camp Coordinator)

COMMITMENT:  Seasonal (August/September to May/June); ideally, Program Associates will continue to serve Luther Crest as part of the Summer Leadership Staff.

WHAT IS THE JOB?  To assist with developing and implementing the programs of Luther Crest Bible Camp.  This is a position for people who enjoy a variety of responsibilities, love people and enjoy a variety of responsibilities!

OBJECTIVES:  Teach classes to environmental education (EE) groups; provide hospitality to retreat groups which use Luther Crest; ensure that dining, meeting and public spaces are clean and ready for groups.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:  Theology, Seasonal Naturalist, Luther Crest Environmental Stewardship Programs, Retreat Program, and Public Relations.

  • Additional Focus for Seasonal Naturalist:  to oversee the Luther Crest Nature Room

  • Additional Focus for Day Camp Coordinator:  to coordinate the summer day camp program

COMPENSATION is negotiable based on experience, and will be a minimum of $900 per month, with 20% additional per month as a stipend toward insurance or savings, as well as room and board.
